Serving
How do you do a side + backspin?
Hi Bryan,
To get any spin it is about brushing the ball.
To get backspin you need to brush the underside of the ball. To get sidespin you need to brush the side of the ball.
If you think of the ball coming towards you as a clock face. To get the backspin you are brushing the ball at 6 o'clock. To get the sidespin you are brushing the ball at 3 or 9 o'clock. so to get a combination of the two you can brush the ball between 3 and 6 o'clock or 6 and 9 o'clock.
