Hello sir , is a short pendulum backspin serve with sidespin second bounce at the short corner of the table good for driving the opponent away from the table ? And how can I receive such serve?

Thanks in advance

Hi Shivam,

It can be good to drive them away if they give you an easy return.  It will depend on each opponent that you play.

To deal with this serve, think about stepping in close to the first bounce and pushing the ball back short on the servers side to stop them from attacking.  As it has backspin, the push is probably yoru easiest option.
