Hi Coaches!! Can you please tell me where are the sweet spots to serve in doubles and which serves are most likely to be used??

Hi Michael,

When serving in doubles you should try to keep the ball short.  Also try to serve close to the middle line.  This will help you to keep the receiver away from the attack.  If you serve wide they can get a good swing at the return.

It is more important to serve short in doubles because the receiver only has half a table to cover.

Usually backspin.  AGain this is to make it harder for them to attack.  If you serve topspin it will be easier for them to flick.  You can always mix it up but in general backspin serves are the way to go.
