Returning a reverse pendulum serve

sir please tell me how i return reverse topspin pendulum serve because when i return the ball with backhand push the ball goes over the net

Hi Siddhartha,

What spin is the server putting on the ball? You need to identify this before you have a real chance of returning the serve consistently. It sounds like it might have sidespin and topspin on it. This would cause the ball to jump up and to the side off your bat. To counter this you would need to use your bat like a rudder to counter the sidespin and have it slightly closed to counter the topspin.
