Hello,

When player A is at point game does player B get the service until he either ties or loses?

I have come upon 2 people who play that way.

Thanks, Higgins

Hi Kathleen,

Definitely not...

The service is not effected by the score.  You have 2 serves each.  If the scores reach 10 all then you have one serve each alternating till one player is two points ahead.

Now you can correct those other two players.

Doubles Serving Rules

In this video we go over the somewhat complicated rules of serving for doubles in table tennis. There are a couple of extra rules for doubles that you don't apply to singles. In doubles you always serve from the right hand box diagonally to your opponent's right hand box. Each player has 2 serves each. If you've just been receiving then it's your turn to serve next.
