If we execute a serve which after bouncing into opponent's court comes back to the net or crosses it, is this serve a let?

Hi Maaz,

This is a good serve and it would be your point if the receiver doesn't hit it before it comes back onto your side.  If it goes back into the net assembly the receiver still has to hit it back onto your side for the point to continue.  Otherwise it would be your point.

Hitting the Ceiling

When the ball hits the ceiling the point is over. You must hit the ball directly back onto the table otherwise you lose the point. In International tournaments the roof needs to be at least 5 metres above the playing surface but in local competitions you might often encounter much lower ceilings.
