Hi Alois and Jeff.

Can you tell me how to do a heavy backspin, topspin and sidespin serve?

Hi Harikrishnan,

In order to generate a lot of spin you need to have a fast contact with the ball and a brushing contact with the ball. It is these 2 factors that cause the ball to spin quickly.

For a backspin serve you must get the ball rotating back towards you. The easiest way to do this is by hitting underneath the ball.

For a topspin serve you must get the ball rotating forward. You can do this by brushing over the top of the ball or by brushing up on the back of the ball.

For a sidespin serve you need to get the ball rotating sideways. The easiest way to do this is to brush on the side of the ball.

We cover this in detail in our DVD Serving Secrets Revealed.
