Hi Alois and Jeff,
What is the Seemiller Grip?
Are there advanags and disadvantages?
Hi Sharlynne,
The Seemiller grip is where you have you finger and thumb on the edges of the bat. Take a look at previous questions on this by typing 'Seemiller Grip' in the search box at the top of the Ask the Coach page. This question will also show you a picture. Dan Seemiller grip.
The forehand chop is a defensive stroke played away from the table. It is mainly used by defenders but can also be incorporated into an attackers game when forced away from the table.
