what is the advantage or disadvantage of the thickness of the rubber we use

Hi Aditya,

The thicker the sponge under the rubber the more spin and speed you will have.  However you need to know what you are looking for in a rubber.  Just because a rubber is thick doesn't mean it will be better.

Try to choose known brands.  The three rubbers we recommend are Mark V, to start with, then Yasaka Pryde and finally XIOM Vega Pro for more speed and spin.  However to use Vega Pro you need to first have established your strokes.
