Rubber short pips, long pips, anti-spin

My daughter is a seven years old table tennis player. Presently she is using Inverted rubber or plain rubber. I learnt that players are using pips (Short,Long) and anti-spin rubber. Is there any need to use pips rubber at this stage? Or Pips rubber will damage the growth at this stage.

Hi Aarushi,
I would keep her on normal rubber for a few more years at least. This will allow her to develop her control, strokes and game. Then she can make a decision about other rubbers later.
