Rubber

For the rubbers in your store if it means 2mm red or 2mm black does it mean only 2mm red oneside rubber cause $40 is a lot for just one side of a rubber

Yes, rubber is reasonably expensive but not really when you look at the cost of most other sports. 

A Custom made bat is something you can move to when you really know you are going to continue and look at improving.  There are ready made bats like the two we have on our site, the Energetic and the Carbotech, that you can buy with reasonable quality rubber on them. 

As you progress you will find you will need to upgrade your equipment.
