Training
is it worth the money to buy a ping pong robot?
Hi Jeff,
I think a robot is useful if you don't have a training partner. It allows you to practice strokes with consistency.
However, if there is an option of finding a practice partner then I think the practice partner is much more beneficial than a robot.
Pushing short is a great option but you need variation in your game. When you push the ball long you want to make sure it is fast to try and get your opponent's out of position. Watch this video for some tips on how to play the fast long push with heaps of backspin.
