Hey coach

I have been practicing my reverse pendulum serve.

I have made a good progress regarding serving a long side spin serve but I still feel it's not as effective I wanted it to be.

Could it be because of my rubber?!?!

How Can I Make The Best of My Reverse Pendulum Serve.

Hi Rammi,

What rubber are you using?

Perhaps you can start to think about getting more backspin on the serve to make it more effective.  You can get backspin by starting your action a little higher and coming down as you contact the ball.

The Kicker Serve

The kicker serve is one of our "must learn" serves. It's fast, fun, and has lots of topspin. It can be dangerous because if it's not fast enough and if you don't surprise your opponent then they may be able to attack it forcefully putting you on the defensive straight away. Used well though, and sparingly, it can be a great weapon. It can win you a point outright and it will stop your opponent from standing over the table waiting for your short serves since they need to be ready for anything.

Hello!

I think it's Stiga Evo JM Saïve

The backspin on a reverse pendulum is nearly impossible for me

I'm a beginner and as hard as i tried I couldn't perform it

It is a lot more difficult.  Keep trying it.  Start with your bat up a lot higher and get the follow through down towards the table.
