Serving
coach, i seriously need help in the reverse pendulum backspin serve, every time i try it,it either goes down the net or has top spin.
Hi Joel,
This is a more difficult serve to do. The crucial thing is to get the bat under the ball to generate the backspin. You need to reach right over the other side of the ball then bend your wrist up to get the angle. It is a difficult action that takes a lot of practice. I know your frustration because it is not a serve that comes naturally to me and it has taken me a year to start to feel comfortable doing it.
