Kenta Matsudaira is a japanese player who can do that serve. Can you tell me steps by steps how to do it?

Hi Patrick,

To do Kenta's serve you just go through the steps of the Tomahawk serve but at the last minute contact the ball with the backhand side of the bat.

So instead of the bat going from left to right at the end, it is going from right to left.  At first you can get the bat moving quite parallel to the table in the last part of your action but as you get more confident you can get the bat heading towards the left net post.

You will notice that he also bends his knees.  This is to make sure that his contact point is lower so the ball bounces lower over the net.

Kents has really made this serve famous.
