I often make service return errors off a serve from a player using anti spin or pips rubbers. I hit them into the net. What am I doing wrong? Thank you

Hi Tim,

This can be difficult because it is different from returning serves with an inverted rubber.

The main thing to remember is that they con no generate spin with the anti spin rubber so treat it as a no spin serve even if the action they are using for the serve looks like they are generating spin.

Long Pips rubbers also generate less or no spin.

Short pimples generates some spin but not as much as with inverted rubbers.

The key is to play against these rubbers as often as possible and you will start to get used to the differences.
