Hi Nabeel,

I have used a return board once.  I thought it worked well after I got used to hitting against it.

Of course it is not as good as having a partner but if that is your only option, then I would encourage it.

You can make them yourself if you are handy.

#8 - Fast Footwork

In this session you'll focus on increasing the speed of your footwork. To do this we ask you to forget about consistency and concentrate on speed. You should be playing at a pace where you can get around 4 or 5 balls on the table. If you are getting 10 or 20 balls on then you need to up your pace again. It's important to play right to the edge of your ability to actually increase your skill level. We also continue to develop the new serve you have chosen to work on.

i have made 4 boards myself- 2 pimpled and 2 reverse rubber. you can get good quick rubbers from china on ebay cheaply  and make them yourself for less than a £100. i found they really make you concentrate on hitting the table or you miss the board and the rallys over. i like them and they dont get tired !!!

Robots are a little dearer but i would get one of them. They really improve your consistency. Much more than a returnboard will
