Replacing Rubber of DHS premade x6002

Equipment

Hi there,

I want to ask if it is a good idea to replace the rubbers (hurricane 3 and possibly Skyline 2) of the DHS premade bat: X6002 series, the best they have?

Why I say *possibly* is because I have not received it yet in the post.

I wanted to save some bucks and went for the blade mostly, but am willing to replace the rubber with Hurricane 3 Neo and Tenergy 05.

Just want your take on it.

Cheers.

Hi Alexis,

You can do this if the blade is reasonable.  The more important part of the bat is the rubber rather than the blade.

I have made up several reasonable bats by using some very cheap blades and putting decent rubber on them.

Tone is in Your Fingers

There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
