Real or Fake

How do you know if the equipment is real or fake, Really need to know coz I'll almost buy new rubber, glue and blade and I need to be sure if the're original...

I haven't heard of too much fake equipment. Where are you buying it from?

You see, when I was in our Competition in the Philippines Marikina Sports Complex... We met someone who is a seller of ping pong equipments, he told us something about observing if the rubber is original or fake, he said something about the "seal" coz he said that if the rubber container has no seal, it is fake. My mom told me that she saw some equipments for a customized racket and I want to check them out and I came to ask the question to make sure that I won't be tricked when we buy it... Aside from the seal, can you tell me if there are more things to know about finding out if the equipment bought is real o fake...
No I think just make sure it is sealed and has the correct markings on the bottom of the rubber. You can look on the ITTf website, ittf.com and under their equipment and then racket coverings... take a look at this link http://www.ittf.com/_front_page/ittf1.asp?category=rubber. If you click on the rubber you are looking at it will give you an image of what the markings are supposed to look like.
