Serving
Hi Alois
From what I‘ve seen, professional table tennis players tend to stand near the side of the table when serving. Is it a really common strategy and what advantages can it give?
Hi Felix,
A lot of them start in this position but move quickly into a central position after serving. The position allows them to utilise the a wide range of Forehand serves and then with the follow through of moving their right leg they are mobile and in a position for the next ball.
