Problem returning semi long low balls

Hello Coach,

However I have difficulty returning balls that are low semi long that is barely coming off the table I either

  • Hit the ball so that it goes out of the table
  • Or I hit it too high and the opponent gets a chance to attack

What can I do in this situation.
