Greetings coach :). I am very thankful to your videos because by watching them i have become a very good player. I just started table tennis and had problems playing it. One day while searching tips how to play i came across PingSkills and thats the best thing that ever happened to me. I love the way how you explain each and every aspect of the sport. But now, i came across your video how to hit a reverse pendulum serve and i am not able to hit it. Can you please help me out and tell me what should i do to hit my serve nicely and how to make it effective?

Thank you

Hi Jack,

To get a feel for it, practice the motion a lot of times.  Then practice the contact in isolation.

We also have a lesson on this in our Serving Secrets section in the lesson on the Reverse Pendulum Serve.  One of the key points is to get your bat to finish in a position where it is pointing to the opposite net post.  Try to brush the outside of the ball.
