Please, tell me how to play against short pips?  Contact points to return balls from short pips (pushing, hitting, smash). I use inverted rubbers , both sides. Thank you very much. ILYA

Hi Ilya,

The main thing to remember is that the short pips will flatten out the ball spin.  So if you hit with topspin it will tend to come back with less topspin but lower and faster.  The same with the push.  If they push with the pimples it will coe through with less backspin than you would expect with inverted rubber.

If you topspin the first ball think about lifting the next ball a bit more than you are used to.
