Equipment
Hi.
Is playing on a lower table than usual a good training tool?
Since the ball always goes low?
Hi Joshua,
I think it is only good for younger shorter players so that they will not develop strokes that are too different to their adult strokes.
There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!

Alright thanks. The only reason i asked is because there's is this place that my friends go and play table tennis that i think that has tables lower than usual (doesn't look like 76cm). While a lot of children go there (since i am young) the low tables are kind of annoying. I would have to do a improper stroke to get the ball over with spin. Should i keep going or should since my friends go or should i stop and find another place to play table tennis?
If it is the only place for you to have a hit then keep going but if there is an alternative then I would take it. You are right, you will start to alter your strokes.
