Hi Alois,
I have a player who uses long pips and stays very close to the table (in the centre) and irrespective of where i play the ball he uses the long pips and pushes the ball very fast to either side of my end. I try to topspin the ball but I am not winning the point. I have watched your video on the premium section of how to play against long pips but I need to make move away from table so that I can topspin one ball and push the next like how you play against Jeff.
Your assistance is needed
Thanks
Srijith
Hi Srijith,
These can be awkward players to play against.
Try to move him deep into the backhand first and then wide to the forehand. In this way you can also expose their forehand which they don't want to do. Also you can exploit the fact that they are only blocking the ball back. Take your time and wait for the right ball to attack. Play some balls higher if they are only going to block the ball back with the pimple. This will give you more time to recover for the next ball.
