Its all about my backhand today... i am doing my backhand drills for more than a month now.... it goes OK in the practice.... but when it comes to the match, it all goes wrong.... its just all messed up....

i even tried my opponent to serve me different multi balls on my backhand in practice, but even that doesnt work....

its about my psychology actually... i am not confident .. never so confident that i'll hit backhand all on the table.... i have tried everything, every drill, and now i m losing my patience...

i sometimes even thought of quitting table tennis because of this..

i'm neither be able to lift backspin on the table nor keep the top spin ball on to the table..........

can you help?

Hi Vishu,

Patience is the one thing that you mentioned that is very important. You just need more time and training to get the confidence.  In a match just focus on doing the stroke correctly and forget about the result.  You will get it but allow yourself to learn.
