Any tips on positional play when serving and playing doubles
Hi David,
Great question! Doubles play in table tennis can be quite thrilling but it does require good coordination and positioning between partners.
Serving and placing the ball while considering your partner's positioning is important. Thinking about playing the ball to a position which is diagonal to your partner means that the most likely place for your opponents to hit the ball is back to your partner.
Take look at our tutorial on Doubles Tactics for some initial help on the area.
