We only play doubles at our club. Any tips for coordinating with a partner?

Hi Eleanor,

The main thing is movement.  Work at hitting and then moving out of the way of your partner so that they can move in and have a good position at the table.  The movement can be in a circular movement or you can move sideways to give your partner some space.

The other thing to think about is the placement of your shots. Think about your partner when you are placing your shot.  If you play down the line that will often give your partner a better chance of getting to the next ball.
