Playing against anti and short pimple

Strategy

I would like  to know what sort of tactics would be useful against an opponent whose backhand is anti spin and forehand is short pimple. I too have a long pimple in my backhand from which I occasionally attack.I have basically an attacking style. One of my main problems is adjusting to speed variation.I like playing with players who play fast. But against players who have a slow game I find it difficult to time the shots. Most of my topspins and smashes would go out of the table. Therefore against a player with both a anti spin and pimple rubber what sort of approach can I have.

Thanks

Hi Praveen,

Try to work through their backhand side anti spin.  By serving long backspin you will get a topspin ball back that you will be able to attack.  Make sure when you are attacking that you play with topspin.  The topspin on th ball will help it to dip onto the table.

When you get an opportunity to play against a topspin with the long pimple side you can play to their short pimple. This will get backspin on the ball which is more difficult for the short pimple to cope with.
