Hi Dayton,

Falck is a unique player using the sort pimples on his forehand.  He uses them well.  The last I heard he was using Rakza PO rubber on his forehand.  This rubber allows for more spin with the pips.

If you are thinking about playing like him there is a lot to do to get a forehand with the short pimples.  The basics of the stroke are the same but you will play a little flatter than a normal topspin, more like a counterhit stroke.

  2. Start Position: Positioning your racket and body correctly to initiate the stroke effectively.
  3. Finish Position: Completing the stroke in a way that prepares you for the next shot.

Additionally, we discuss how to adjust your bat angle if the ball goes long, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the same start and finish positions without coming across your body.

Whether you're a beginner aiming to build a solid foundation or an advanced player looking to refine your technique, this comprehensive guide is designed to enhance your game.

Yep, rakza po is correct. There are 2 short pip players in my club who tested the rubber last year. They both ditched it really quickly because they found that the rubber behaves a bit atypical when compared to most other short pip rubbers and they both felt that the rubber is only suited for real high-level players (which is kinda ironic because I would consider one of them to be rather high level...)
