Pivot backhand

I've seen that forehand dominant players love to play forehands from the backhand corner, but why don't backhand dominant players do a pivot backhand(playing backhand in the forehand corner)

Hi Jasper,

Many years ago this would have been the case.  Now however, this is done more and more, especially on the return of serve.

This also does happen sometimes in the rally however, in general because the swing on the forehand is bigger players can tend to generate more power off that side and that is why when given the option a lot of players will choose the forehand over thebacfhand still.
