Hi Jeff and Alois! I was wondering are you able to lift your feet off the ground when you are playing a match? I heard some people say it’s not allowed anymore and I wanted to get a clear answer.

Thanks!

Hi Shaurya,

You definitely are allowed to lift your feet.  In fact I would recommend it to be able to move more efficiently.

Maybe this was with regard to serving and perhaps "stamping" during the serve?
