pimple rubber

Hi sir I m wheelchair player, I participate first time in International para table tennis in Costa rica. I found all wheelchair player use pimple rubber. I want to know, what's advantage of pimple rubber. which pimple rubber is best for me. right now i am playing with mark V rubber on both side.

Hi Trivendra,

I coach the Australian Paralympic squad so it is great to get your question.

The pimple rubber allows you to control the ball easier.  It does have its disadvantages as well though.  It is harder to attack the ball with it.  If you have an attacking backhand you may want to stay with the Mark V.

What Class are you?  In the higher classes more players tend to use normal rubber.
