Strokes
Hello Alois and Jeff,
I had watched pingskills video regarding how penholder playing with backhand, it is very good, I made also a lot of practices, but sometimes is good, sometimes is very bad, it is very difficult for me to keep same moves and same tempo with my backhand. Because as long as I moved my feet, then my bat position changed neither,
During match i nearly lost all points with my backhand topspin and smash.
Could you make more videos regarding penholder backhand playing strategy and method?
Thanks
Linda
Hi Linda,
The key is to do the stroke as many times as you possibly can. See if you can practice the stroke every day and you will soon find it improving. You will find that the stroke will start to get more grooved the more you do it.
A snake shot is a type of stroke which is specifically used against a drop shot. It is usually loaded with a heavy spin so that the opponent finds it difficult to counter. The type of spin can be backspin, sidespin or topspin depending on your choice. You need to make a movement after hitting the ball to confuse your opponent.
