How to do the pendulum topspin serve, because I can't get the topspin by brushing the ball on the top of it.

This is the hardest of the Pendulum serves to get the idea of.
You need to brush up the back of the ball to get it rotating forward. You do this by hitting the ball in the later part of the pendulum movement as the bat is going up.
