How much should the ball come down before before contact with the ball so that it is spiny and low

Hi Aishik,
If you contact the ball when it is just above the height of the net you will get the ball to bounce quite low. You can experiment for yourself while you are practising your serve.
You can also use the little trick we show you in our lesson on Keeping The Ball Low.

Variation of Speed
Varying the speed is different from varying the length. You can have a fast short serve and a slow short serve. You can also have a fast long serve and a slow long serve.
