Hi Pingskills! I found that Mizutani and Ma Lin does the same when doing the ghost serve, they both tossed the ball very high. Is it really necessary to toss a ball that high to make a ghost serve?

You don't need to toss the ball high. It is just a variation that you can use. It does help to get more spin on the ball.
