How can I know if the serve of my opponent is a pendulum or a backspin serve?

Hi Vince,

The pendulum serve is a type of serve where your bat moves in a pendulum like motion. With the pendulum serve, you can generate backspin or sidespin or topspin.

The key to reading what spin is on the ball is seeing the contact they make on the ball. If they come down the back of the ball or underneath it, it will have backspin. If they brush either side of the ball it will have sidespin. And if the come up the back of the ball or over the top of the ball it will have topspin.
