Not enough time to train

Training

I really want to develop my table tennis game. But due to my activity, I can only play once a week, twice at best. Quite often I have to skip the training for entire week. I know I won't be able to grow much with such low amount of playing hour, particularly with my techniques, but I still want to grow regardless. What should I focus on whenever I've got a chance to play?

Hi Erriza,

Focus on more open play and combining strokes in a game.

Also focus on serves and return of serves.

Perfecting the Push

This week's master class is called Perfecting the Push. To have a great push you need to first see how much backspin is on the ball as it is coming towards you. Then you need to alter your stroke to counter this backspin. You also need to concentrate on generating your own backspin to make it harder for you opponent.
