Hi Alois and Jeff,

im currently learning a new forehand technique as I used to take more backswing than necessary and it was very inconsistent. Can u teach me any pointers that are very essential to learn a new technique?

thank you.

Hi Shripathi,

Focus on the start and finish position of the stroke.  If you get those two things tight the stroke will work for you.

One thing that I have found useful is to not think about it as changing a stroke but developing a new stroke.  This tends to free up your mind to take in the new information.

Give it a try.
