Serving
How do you actually create your own effective serve?
Hi Janan,
Just through experimentation. Try different things while you are practicing and see what you can come up with. It just requires a creative mind.
Let us know if you come up with something good.

The kicker serve is one of our "must learn" serves. It's fast, fun, and has lots of topspin. It can be dangerous because if it's not fast enough and if you don't surprise your opponent then they may be able to attack it forcefully putting you on the defensive straight away. Used well though, and sparingly, it can be a great weapon. It can win you a point outright and it will stop your opponent from standing over the table waiting for your short serves since they need to be ready for anything.

No, I just found one that worked well for me through experimentation.

Same here! i found the pendulum and tomohawk serve most comfortable for me

I'm still trying to make reverse pendulum as my main serve (easy to make TS-SS, but hard to make BS-SS), but my pendulum serve is still my most reliable serve (easy to vary the BS, still hard to add SS / TS).
