Hi,

Think about your feet position.  Often when we improve on one side we tend to stand in a position to favour that side.  So think about moving your left foot forward a little and then see how it goes.

The other thing is that we tend to want the ball to go to our stronger side so we prepare for that side.  If yo can, try to keep your mind open to the ball coming on both sides.

So, it may not be technique at all, but rather your thoughts.
