Sir, this year I am going to appear for a very very hard examination. I have to attend extra classes for the examination. Well, I score always first rank in school, but this examination is very difficult and if I score good marks, I get a large amount of cash as prize. My parents and other everybody is telling me to concentrate on my studies. So I am getting very less time for training sessions.

Please tell me how can I manage both my game and studies.

Hi Kaustubh,

Your studies is very important and needs to take first priority.  When you do get a chance to train make sure it is with good concentration and with a purpose.  It is always about making the most of the time you have.  Everyone would like to train more.  Work hard when you get the opportunities.

#42 - Study Your Opponent

This is the second training plan focusing on match strategy. Last week we looked at your strengths and building a game around that. This week you should examine one of your competitors and pick out their weaknesses. Then you can design some training drills to expose those weaknesses. By doing this you'll be able to exploit them in a match situation and win points more easily.
