Serving
Coach usually when i play against a strong player I don't have a strong service. And when I play against a group of weak players and become a star player for them and then suddenly I lose so how can I come back.
Hi Dawoood,
Serving is something that you can improve with a lot of practice. First focus on getting a lot of spin on the ball. then work on getting good placement.
To generate spin you need to brush the ball on contact. The rubber on your bat will grip the ball and turn it around, as long as you have a reasonable quality bat. We have a series of lessons on Serving Secrets that are designed to help players that want to work on their serving skills.
For the issue of allowing weaker players to beat you, I think you need to think about how they are winning points against you. Are you making a lot of errors that are allowing them to win points too easily. Against a weaker player it is important to allow them to make some mistakes as well.
The high toss serve looks spectacular and it gets results. It is particularly suited to the pendulum serve but we encourage you to try it out with all of your serves. Follow these instructions and add the high toss serve to your repertoire.
