hi coach
ive been trying to practice the serve for a while now
i notice that the moment it spins back to me or the moment it lands the ball slows is it natural?

Hi Amekun,
Yes the ball will slow down quickly. That is normal. The backspin will hold it up quickly.

It may sound like a bad idea but the no spin serve can be effective when put together with a range of spin serves. In fact, this is a must have in your arsenal of serves.

i thought that i was doing it wrong since it always becomes a float ball :)
