Alois, you said in the video that we hit the back of the ball when we do forehand topspin on block. But I read in a book that we hit back in the ball facing backspin but hit the top of the ball facing a block. Ā Could you please clarify. Also do we straighten our legs more facing backspin?Ā

love

Hi Ashok,

You can hit the back of the ball when hitting block as well, if your stroke is coming more forward. Ā You can also hit the top of the ball but you need a faster brushing action and a rubber with good grip.

There are videos in theĀ Strokes & TechniquesĀ sectionĀ on theĀ Backhand Topspin Against BlockĀ and theĀ Backhand Topspin Off Backspin. Ā In that section you will find a whole lot of lessons that will be useful.
