Alois, you said in the video that we hit the back of the ball when we do forehand topspin on block. But I read in a book that we hit back in the ball facing backspin but hit the top of the ball facing a block. Could you please clarify. Also do we straighten our legs more facing backspin?
love
Alsoany videos on backhand topspin against block/backspin please? Thanks a million! You guys are the best and the gold standard of the industry!!! Love you!!!

Hi Ashok,
You can hit the back of the ball when hitting block as well, if your stroke is coming more forward. You can also hit the top of the ball but you need a faster brushing action and a rubber with good grip.
Alois, Thanks you very much but ....How to handle the backspin balls that have two bounces on my side of the table please?because I can't go lower to knee level. Do you have videos for short balls (close to net)? Thanks and regards.

If the ball is going to bounce twice on your side then a short push is the best option. This is probably the best video, The Push in Detail.

There are videos in the Strokes & Techniques section on the Backhand Topspin Against Block and the Backhand Topspin Off Backspin. In that section you will find a whole lot of lessons that will be useful.
