Hey pingskills! I have a question and my question is: How can I loop the ball if it has very heavy backspin in it? Especially when i fight with long pips defender, he is just chopping and i can’t loop it because if I loop it the ball is hitting the net because of the heavy topspin. Thank you and have a good day. :D

Hi Jethro,

The stroke you need to make needs to be quite vertical with a lot of racket speed and a brushing contact to lift the ball over the net.

Take a look at our lesson on Forehand Topspin Off Backspin.

Against the long pimples if the ball does get too heavy it is OK to push one ball.  When you push that ball to the long pimples and they push it back, it will have some topspin and will make it a lot easier to attack the next ball.
