Strokes
hello sir ....... sir i want to ask you that how hit a loop on a short ball or i want to learn how to loop on a short balll
Hi Kartikey,
It is difficult to loop a ball that is only going to bounce once. I would recommend that you flick or push that ball.
If you mean that the ball is only bouncing once on the table but it is in front of you, then you need to stay really low with your legs and move forward into the ball. Then you need to use a lot of topspin to lift it up over the table and net. Slow the stroke down to get the ball to lift easier.
Most players are told to always return to the ready position after every stroke but that might be hurting your game. In this video, we reveal a smarter way to recover:
✔ Track the ball immediately after your shot
✔ Move your racket into position for the next shot instead of blindly resetting
✔ Improve your timing, balance, and flow during rallies
Whether you’re a beginner or advanced player, understanding this subtle change can have a big impact on your consistency and speed around the table.
