Strokes
During play, do you advocate watching the ball as it hits your racket? If so, what are good ways to practice this? I seem to get wrapped up in what my opponent is doing and lose focus of the ball.
Hi Bob,
Think about trying to watch the ball all the way through. It is difficult to actually watch the ball till it touches your batt but if you focus on the ball all the way through you will give yourself the best information possible.
The best way to do this is in training to spend some time where you are just thinking about watching the ball. Probably best done when you are doing a drill where the ball is coming to random positions to you.

If you look up mid-stroke pictures of pro players you'll notice they all have their eyes on the ball. It's especially noticeable on Joo Se Hyuk (and he often has an entertaining expression too).
