Long pips or short pips

I have playing TT for 6 months I think , I am planning on have a pimples out rubber for my backhand , which better to use short pips or long pips?

Hi PAtrick,
This depends on the style of game you want to play. If you want to play a fast close to the table attacking game then the short pimples is better. If you want to be more defensive, then try the long pimples.
Also take a look at the lesson on the Effects of Rubbers. This will give you a better insight into what they do.
